Here’s how to spot them and stay protected this fall:
1️⃣ Watch for Fake Delivery Emails and Texts
“Your package couldn’t be delivered” might sound legitimate, but it’s a classic phishing scam.
📦 Tip: Go directly to the carrier’s website (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and check your tracking number — never click the link in the message.
2️⃣ Don’t Trust “Limited Time” Offers from Unknown Stores
Scammers create entire fake storefronts during the holidays.

📞 Tip: Hang up and call the real company directly using the number on their website — never the one that called you.
4️⃣ Use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Even if your password leaks, MFA stops attackers cold.
