Holiday Tech Tune-Up: Update Your Devices Safely Before the Holidays

Before you dive into holiday shopping, travel, or video calls with family, take a moment to update your devices. Keeping Windows, macOS, iPhone, and Android up to date isn’t just about new features — it’s one of the easiest ways to keep your tech fast, secure, and ready for the season.

Here’s what to check.

1. Update Windows

Go to Settings → Windows Update and install everything labeled Security, Critical, or Recommended.

2. Update macOS

Go to System Settings → General → Software Update.
